Who should enter (PEI)

  • PEI expects entries this season in Women’s Pre-Novice and Women’s Novice.

  • Other Pre-Novice/Novice categories (Men, Pairs, Ice Dance) follow the same rules if applicable.

Qualifying Minimum Score (QMS)

QMS is the TES (Technical Element Score) of the Free Program (no bonuses/deductions).

2025–26 QMS (Pre-Novice & Novice):

  • Women – Pre-Novice: 22.0 TES

  • Women – Novice: 27.5 TES
(Men/Pairs/Dance QMS apply per Skate Canada if needed.)

Important:

  • QMS must be achieved between July 1, 2025 and the Trophy entry deadline.

  • QMS may be achieved at the same or lower level in the same discipline.

  • STARSkate Free Program scores can be used to meet QMS.

  • Section quota: PEI may send up to 3 entries per category (Pre-Novice & Novice), provided QMS is met.

  • Exception: If no PEI skater meets QMS in a category, we may still enter one skater in that category.

  • Local PEI note: For team consideration, PEI has set an additional minimum TES of 17.5 for Pre-Novice Women.

After Sectionals (accept/decline)

  • Any qualifying skater must confirm acceptance within 24 hours of the conclusion of Sectionals and complete Trophy registration by the stated deadlines.

  • Failure to confirm on time may forfeit the spot.
